R&D CENTER AND A BREEDING BASE
The company has an independent R&D center and a breeding base for more than 1,300 dogs and cats. It has established a "Pet Nutrition Experimental Base" with the Feed Engineering Center of the Ministry of Agriculture; it has established a "Pet Nutrition Research Center" with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; and it has jointly established it with Hebei Agricultural University. "Hebei Pet Food Industry Technology Research Institute"; jointly established "Huaxing Design Institute", "Pet Food Experimental Base" and "Short Video IP Incubation Center" with Xingtai University. It strongly supports product research and development, innovation and brand design upgrades. At present, a multi-category product portfolio has been formed such as dry food, wet food, prescription food, health products, snacks, cat litter, etc.

The company allocates more than 3% of its sales revenue as special funds for research and development each year.. In August 2008, it established a pet breeding base, which has grown from the initial few dozen dogs and cats to the largest domestic pet breeding base with more than 1,300 dogs and cats.

In November 2015, the "China Pet Food Industry Research Institute" and the "Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Scientific Research Base" were established in cooperation with the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
